Dual Enrollment: Start Early. Finish Strong.
Preparing Snowden Students—and Their Families—for College Today
At Snowden International, we believe academic excellence shouldn't wait. Our Dual Enrollment Program offers high school students—primarily in grades 10 through 12—the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school.
The program places special emphasis on reaching students as early as 10th grade, because the earlier they begin, the greater the chance of completing enough coursework to graduate with an associate degree by the time they finish high school.
This is one of Snowden’s flagship academic programs, known for its rigor, results, and reputation. Not all students are accepted—those who are must demonstrate academic readiness, commitment, and maturity. As a result, Dual Enrollment students feel a strong sense of honor and accomplishment, knowing they’ve earned a place in one of Snowden’s most prestigious academic tracks.
Participation doesn’t just open doors—it raises GPAs through weighted college coursework. A strong Dual Enrollment transcript makes students formidable contenders for admission into top colleges and universities across the country. For those interested in attending a Historically Black College or University (HBCU), the program also serves as a specialized pipeline to some of the nation’s most respected HBCUs, blending academic excellence with cultural pride.
Students gain:
-
Rigorous, college-level instruction
-
Transferable college credits
-
GPA elevation and college application advantages
-
Exposure to college culture and expectations
-
Empowerment through early academic success
-
A sense of pride in belonging to something exceptional
Dual Enrollment helps students step into their future with purpose, preparation, and possibility. And we believe the ripple effect of education should extend beyond the classroom.
Soon, Snowden will introduce a parent component to the program—offering families of Dual Enrollment students the opportunity to pursue their own academic and professional advancement. Whether through educational resources, skill-building workshops, or career development opportunities, this initiative is designed to invest in the growth of Snowden families as a whole.
Because when we uplift students, we uplift families—and when families thrive, communities are transformed.
College starts now—and the possibilities are limitless.
